WANDERLUST FESTIVAL 2014 is getting closer!

“Wanderlust Festival Elevates the Extraordinary with More Mindful Adventures than Ever Before”

Five-stop summer celebration to offer unforgettable yoga, mind-blowing music, intriguing speaker series, delicious organic offerings and more

For the last 2 summers, August activities in Whistler have been buzzing with anticipation, excitement and crowded sidewalks. One of the fastest growing festivals, Wanderlust Festival, decided to call Whistler ‘home’ in Canada. This one-of-a-kind getaway will welcome over 60,000 attendees as they experience transformative yoga, adventurous outdoor activities, organic dining by renowned chefs and sustainable brands, local wines, family fun, live music and a thought-provoking speakeasy series.

Social City‘s SOCIAL in the CITY crew has had the unique experience of being able to participate both past summer festivals, and each year that buzz comes back – we’re excited!

The Wanderlust Festival 2014 tour begins in Stratton Mountain (June 19-22), a new Rocky Mountain home at Aspen-Snowmass (July 3-6), a return to Wanderlust’s original birthplace, Squaw Valley (July 17-20), an extended 5-day event in Whistler, BC, Canada (July 31 – August 4), and a newly expanded festival at Tremblant (August 21-24) to cap off the summer season.

This year, Wanderlust’s sustainable dining experience will be more prominent than ever before. Its signature Farm-to-Table Dinners, presented by EatingWell, will feature high-end mountain top dining created with fresh, locally grown foods and the festival’s very own Wanderlust wine. Superstar chefs, including Sarah Copeland will prepare tasty, well-balanced, whole foods at the Stratton Mountain & Squaw Valley festivals.

Additionally, Fitness and EatingWell magazines will continue to promote being healthy and staying strong in the village with tents featuring light bites and sample products from a variety of mindful food and lifestyle brands. Kashi will share its passion for the power of positive eating with samples of its new granola bars and organic, non-GMO cereals. LUVO will offer its delicious, nutrient-dense menu items, supporting a healthy lifestyle and sustainable future for our planet. Gardein will deliver its signature, mouthwatering plant-based protein—with no cholesterol and less fat and calories than traditional proteins and debuting the first vegan Farm-to-Table dinner at the California Festival. resource® Natural Spring Water, 100% natural spring water in a bottle made with 50% recycled plastic will keep practitioners hydrated and refreshed.

“After all the sun salutations, excursions, dance parties and just the overall physicality found at our festivals—the dining experience serves as the perfect social gathering to rejuvenate both body and soul,” said Wanderlust co-founder Jeff Krasno. “It’s an opportunity for us to express gratitude, enjoy local cuisine and savor each other’s company, mindfully.”

In addition to the food, Wanderlust will return with its traditional offerings including:

YOGA—Hit the mat with top tier yoga personalities encompassing a vast variety of yoga styles and personal tastes: Seane Corn, Gurmukh, Shiva Rea, Jonny Kest, Rod Stryker, Elena Brower, Ana Forrest and more. prAna will be hosting a special Pink Mat events at Wanderlust to show their gratitude for the ways they have helped so many find their strength with a rejuvenating yoga class like no other. The first 50 to arrive will receive one of their signature pink mats.
