Fashion Revolution Day – Presented by Vancouver International Film Festival // #SOCIALintheCITY | Friday, April 24th 2015 | 6:00pm | Fashion Revolution Day is a call to action, in response to the collapse of the Rana Plaza factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh that claimed the lives of over 1100 people and injured and devastated the lives of hundreds more. | To support this cause VIFF has partnered with Eco-Fashion Week (EFW) to raise awareness about the reality of garment workers and the need for greater transparency, accountability, and sustainability in the fashion industry.| Two films being screened for the event with a small reception between the screenings. | 6:00pm Traceable followed by a panel discussion about tractability and sustainability in the fashion industry.
