13th Annual Vancouver Latin American Film Festival

Fruit Stand - Still

Helping Hands: A Lovely Little Evening in Support of the DEWCSeptember 5th | Hosted at The Remington Gallery (105 E. Hastings) | 8pm |  and will include an art show, DJs, a silent auction, and drinks. | All proceeds will go to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre located on the corner of Cordova and Columbia. The DEWC works on providing a safe place with basic necessities for women, children, and seniors struggling with homelessness and poverty. The idea is to help the neighboring community which I hope will create a positive impact we can see and feel each day. |

The Getaway | Presented by SOCIAL CITY FAM MEMBER: The Social YogaFriday September 18- Sunday September 20 | There are still a few spots left up for grabs for the inaugural Social Yoga Getaway. This is not your everyday yoga retreat for the not so everyday person. The team at Social Yoga have partnered with local talent: Woodlot, Fox and Flourish, Flour Water Salt, Museum Eats, and holistic nutritionist Jennifer Northrup to create a power-packed weekend of workshops. Go on a hike to forage for mushrooms, bake your own bread, and eat it all in one meal.
